About Planfolio
Most portfolio trackers answer "how much do I have?" Planfolio answers "is what I own actually good?" Built by a solo founder after a decade of investing across multiple brokers and a fragile hand-built spreadsheet, Planfolio imports statements from DeGiro, Trade Republic, ING, Charles Schwab, Fidelity and more — parsing them on-device and encrypting before anything reaches the backend.
On top of multi-broker aggregation it adds fundamental analysis with context, dividend tracking and a calendar, and tax intelligence for Germany and the US. Privacy-first by architecture: encrypted on-device, no ads, your data is never sold.
The story
About 10 years ago Philipp made his first stock purchase, eventually spreading a portfolio across DeGiro and Trade Republic. When he tried to understand what he actually owned, no tracker could tell him — they showed balances, not whether a company was any good, and most wanted his full broker history on servers he didn't trust. After a hand-maintained spreadsheet kept breaking, he built the app he couldn't find: Planfolio. The design constraint that shaped everything — broker imports are parsed on-device and encrypted before they touch the backend, so the keys never leave the user's phone and even the founder can't read their data.

Founder
Philipp Heinemann is the solo founder and developer of Planfolio. A long-time self-directed investor, he built Planfolio after a decade of frustration with trackers that showed balances but never whether his holdings were any good — and that asked him to trust third parties with his full financial history. He designed Planfolio around on-device encryption so that even he can't read users' data.
