Broker Import Data Use Terms

1. What we receive

If you tick the consent box and submit, the broker export file you selected is uploaded to our secure storage and linked to your support ticket. The file may contain your transactions (assets, dates, amounts, prices, fees).

2. How we use it — strictly limited

We use the uploaded file solely to:

• reproduce, diagnose, and fix the import problem you reported, and
• validate that the broker import feature correctly parses files in that format.

We will not use the file for any other purpose. We will not use it for advertising, profiling, model training unrelated to the import parser, or any analysis beyond fixing and validating the import.

3. No sharing, no selling

We will never sell the uploaded file or its contents, and we will never hand it to any third party, except where we are legally compelled to do so by binding law or a valid order of a public authority.

4. Internal access only

Access to uploaded files is restricted to authorized Surplexic GmbH support and engineering staff working on your reported issue.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep the uploaded file only as long as needed to resolve your reported issue. When the support ticket is closed, the attached file is automatically deleted from our storage. You may also ask us to delete it sooner at any time (info@surplexic.com).

6. Legal basis (GDPR)

Processing of a voluntarily uploaded file is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by contacting info@surplexic.com; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
